Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos has revealed the streaming giant is “super happy” with the performance of their Marvel shows following the cancellation of Iron Fist.
With the news of Iron Fist‘s cancellation and The Defenders Season 2 in doubt, fans have wondered if the end ofย Netflix’s Marvel showsย is near. Disney is also launching their own streaming service with Marvel shows of their own and Kevin Feige reportedly involved. Disney also plans on removing their films fromย Netflixย and ending their contract. This has caused fans to wonder if Disney might be ending theย Netflix-Marvel shows.ย According to a report from Collider, Sarandos revealed Netflix is super happy with their Marvel shows and only they can cancel the shows:
โThose shows are for us to cancel and weโre super happy with their performance so far.โ
