We’re only days away from the Marvel Studios mega-blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame, and a new TV spot shows one of Iron Man’s newest toys.
While many Marvel fans have gone dark on viewing new promotional material in anticipation for Avengers: Endgame, that’s not stopping Marvel from dropping new TV spots in the last days leading up to the film’s release.
This most recent TV spot shows Iron Man, standing beside Ronin/Hawkeye, with a new feature from his updated nanotech armor. It appears to be a kind of energy shield that may come in handy in the rematch with Thanos. You can check out the new TV spot below:
This new shield brings a particular scene from last year’s Avengers: Endgame to mind. Thanos, using the Power Stone, blasted Iron Man with a beam of energy that decimated his nanotech shield. Perhaps this new, energy-based shield will be used to prevent a repeat of their first encounter.
