As it turns out though, fans who attended the convention themselves were given a different trailer with extended footage, which was eventually released to the public after New York Comic-Con. At the end of the trailer, fans got their first official look at Momoa in the comic book accurate Aquaman costume and the wildfire of excitement only continued.
Now, fans can get a very close look at Aquaman in his costume when his wax figure arrives. That’s right, according to ic Florida, Momoa’s DC icon will be joining the Justice League: A Call for Heroes showcase at Madame Tussauds in Orlando, Florida, and what’s most intriguing about the promotional image below is that it’s hard to tell whether or not that’s the actual wax figure. The figure will arrive before the release of Aquaman this holiday season, so fans will have plenty of time to visit the figure to tide over that anticipation until the film hits theaters. It’s exciting to see the costume brought to the forefront in the advertising now, but how much time the hero will spend in the outfit is still a mystery. Momoa has said that he already pitched the opening for Aquaman 2, so hopefully, there will be plenty more action featuring the suit in the future of the DC Extended Universe.
