A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Tenet, is set to premiere tonight on the Fortnite video game.
Since Fortnite revealed its battle royal mode, the game has quickly become one of the biggest on the planet. More recently, however, the game has become a place for films to release additional promotional material. Palpatine’s words mentioned in the opening crawl in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, for example, weren’t heard anywhere in the film itself but used as a cross-promotional event in Fortnite. Now Tenet will be a film that uses the game as an advertising platform.
Earlier today it was announced on Fortnite‘s official Twitter account that the world premiere for Tenet‘s upcoming trailer would premiere on the game and would show every hour in the Party Royal mode. You can see the full Tweet below:

Plot details for Tenet remain under wraps but the Christopher Nolan film has been officially described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” Production on Tenet took place across seven countries.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel. Christopher Nolan also serves as a producer alongside his wife Emma Thomas, with Thomas Hayslip on board as an executive producer.
