‘Succession’ Composer Nicholas Britell Scoring ‘Andor’

Andor has found its composer!

Lucasfilm has chosen Succession composer Nicholas Britell to score the upcoming Star Wars series, Andor.

Andor was the second Star Wars series announced by Disney, but it won’t debut on the streaming service until later this year. However, filming on season two will begin in the fall, according to Stellan Skarsgard. As we wait for Andor to arrive on Disney Plus, more and more details about the Rogue One spin-off are slowly coming out, with Film Music Reporter sharing that Nicholas Britell will score the series.

Andor’s Nicholas Britell is best known for his work on the HBO series, Succession, and worked with Disney recently on Curella and will compose the upcoming Lion King prequel. The Andor composer has also earned Oscar nominations for scoring Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, and Don’t Look Up.

Diego Luna first appeared as Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Here is the synopsis for the film:
