Before they were turned to dust in Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury and Maria Hill were heading to meet someone and that character has finally been revealed.
The character in question went by the name of Cameron Klein. He was a minor supporting character first introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. His character was one of those who remained loyal to Steve Rogers during Hydra’s takeover of S.H.I.L.E.D., even risking his life by defying Brock Rumlow/Crossbones. He ultimately survived the events of the film and remained loyal to Nick Fury, helping him during the Battle of Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
According to the dialogue at the end of the film, this was the character that Nick Fury and Maria Hill were heading to meet before they were turned to dust by Thanos. The two characters actually discuss meeting Klein before crashing their car. In addition, the Redditor who pointed this out also speculates that he may have a role in Avengers: Endgame because of this.
This is Cameron Klein. He’s the guy Fury and Hill were supposed to meet during the post-credit scene from IW. So, unless he’s dusted, I think he’s gonna have a role in Endgame. from r/marvelstudios
From the look of things, Nick Fury and Maria Hill may have had something important going on when they were dusted.
