Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was introduced to the DC Extended Universe in David Ayer’s The Suicide Squad. While the film itself received mixed reactions from audiences, Margot Robbie’s performance as Harley Quinn remains one of the more popular aspects of the entire DC Films franchise and it appears Nicki Minaj is one of the character’s many fans.
In a post on her official Instagram account, Nicki Minaj shared a photo of herself dressed up as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn as seen in Suicide Squad. In the caption, Nicki Minaj notes that this was a behind-the-scenes photo and suggested more photos of herself as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn were coming soon.

Margot Robbie is set to reprise her role as Harley Quinn in Warner Bros. and DC’s Birds of Prey. Full details on the Birds of Prey plot are currently unknown, though the film is said to center on Huntress, Black Canary, and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn joining forces to protect Cassandra Cain when she comes into the possession of a diamond belonging to a criminal kingpin known as Black Mask.
Directed by Cathy Yan from a script penned by Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson, Warner Bros.’ Birds of Prey stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ali Wong, Robert Catrini, and Michael Masini have also been cast in undisclosed roles.
