‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Becomes Fantastic Four Villain Doctor Doom In New Image

Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau becomes the iconic Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a stunning new piece of fan art.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige confirmed that a new Fantastic Four movie is currently in the works at Marvel Studios following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets. Part of the excitement that comes with the Fantastic Four joining the MCU is that we’ll get a likely new version of Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom is one of Marvel’s best villains and could play a huge role in the MCU if he makes his return to the big screen.

Before the Marvel Studios Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel fans had been fan-casting actors to play the MCU’s Doctor Doom. The Fantastic Four villain was played by Nip/Tuck actor Julian McMahon in the Tim Story films by 20th Century Fox. However, Toby Kebbell was the most recent actor to bring the character to life in Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot.

One actor who fans have suggested for the role of Doctor Doom is Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is best known for his role as Jaime Lannister in the hit HBO series. With his schedule having just cleared up due to Game of Thrones ending, it’s possible the actor could make his comic book movie debut in the role of Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom. The Witcher Henry CavillNetflix has released a brand new poster for the Henry Cavill series The Witcher along with a slew of first look photos.

A stunning poster for the upcoming Netflix series The Witcher made its debut this morning, featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. In addition, Netflix also dropped the first official photos of Anya Cholatra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri as well as two more stills that offer fans a fresh look at Geralt.

The Witcher Poster Netflix Henry Cavill

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill). Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.
