Check out the creatures and craft of Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars Disney Plus

New concept art from Obi-Wan Kenobi shows Ewan McGregor’s exiled Jedi Master riding an animal on Tatooine, as well as some of the vehicles used by Imperial forces and Tatooine locals.

The new images from the Disney Plus Star Wars series, which arrives next month, have been shared on Twitter by Total Film. The artwork reveals designs for Obi-Wan’s disheveled Jedi-in-hiding look, as well as some of the creatures and craft that will appear. Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi is shown in the shabby overcoat/robe that he is seen wearing in the series’ trailer. The look evokes his traditional Jedi robes, but is less likely to draw the eye of suspicious Imperials.

Also pictured is an eopie, serving as a mount for the Jedi Master. These creatures are native to the deserts of Tatooine and can be ridden or used to carry burdens, serving as a Star Wars equivalent to camels. As well as appearing in the trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, these creatures appeared in scenes on Tatooine in all three of the Star Wars prequels and have featured in several episodes of The Clone Wars. Other images reveal a docking bay filled with Imperial ships and a few stormtroopers, as well as a craft that appears to serve as public transport on Tatooine. Take a look at the concept art below:

It looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi will focus heavily on the Jedi Master’s “fall from grace” following Revenge of the Sith, as he takes up a simple hermit’s life on Tatooine.
