X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn found her old Psylocke sword from her time in Fox’s Marvel series.
Many X-Men fans were disappointed when Olivia Munn’s Psylocke wasn’t a larger part of X-Men: Apocalypse after she appeared in most of the marketing for the 2016 film. The star recently opened up about working with the controversial Bryan Singer, saying the director left filming for ten days due to a thyroid issue. Munn recently shared a hilarious video with her Psylocke sword, which the mutant imbued with psionic energy when she was one of Apocalypse’s Horsemen.
X-Men star Olivia Munn shared the video on Twitter, saying she found it when she was cleaning up at home, posing with the Psylocke sword before testing her moves to see if she could remember any of the routines she learnt for the role. Unfortunately, the star didn’t have as much room as she thought when filming the quick video, impressively spinning the sword around before hitting the wall behind her. Looks like her Psylocke moves are a little rusty! Check out the brilliant clip below.

Aside from the upcoming The New Mutants, which is said to be a total standalone, the final Fox-produced X-Men movie that was part of the shared universe was 2019’s Dark Phoenix. That movie’s premise is as follows:
This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic Dark Phoenix. During a life-threatening rescue mission in space, Jean is hit by a cosmic force that transforms her into one of the most powerful mutants of all. Wrestling with this increasingly unstable power as well as her own personal demons, Jean spirals out of control, tearing the X-Men family apart and threatening to destroy the very fabric of our planet. The film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It is the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies, as the family of mutants that we’ve come to know and love must face their most devastating enemy yet — one of their own.
Written and directed by Simon Kinberg, Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.
Dark Phoenix is now available on Digital HD, 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news surrounding the X-Men and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content in the future!
