New promotional artwork of Oscar Isaac suited up as Moon Knight for the upcoming Marvel Studios series has surfaced.
After his short-lived tenure as Apocalypse in the X-Men series, Oscar Isaac is returning to the world of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he will play Moon Knight. We got our first proper look at the Disney Plus series earlier this month, revealing the official first glimpse at Marc Spector’s suit at the very end.
Moon Knight’s look from the comics isn’t as easy to translate to live-action as other Marvel heroes, and if you weren’t a fan of the look we got in the first trailer, recently released artwork might change your mind. Disney Plus’ Brandon SanGiovanni dropped some new promotional images of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight on Twitter, showing the Marvel character’s look from head to toe. The live-action suit seen in the images definitely leans into the character’s ancient Egyptian roots. This art will most likely appear on apparel, posters, and other merchandise that will arrive soon, and you can see it below.
Here is the synopsis for Oscar Isaac’s new Marvel series:
A new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.
Written by Jeremy Slater, the series stars Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight and Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow. Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead directed episodes of the series with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige serving as an Executive Producer.
Moon Knight will hit Disney Plus on March 30, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming Oscar Isaac series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
