Owen Wilson has opened up about making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Agent Mobius in a new Loki featurette.
Loki is set to his Disney Plus this Wednesday, ready to give us greater insight into the mind of the trickster and highlight the efforts of the Time Variant Authority. Joining Tom Hiddleston in his MCU debut is comedic actor Owen Wilson, who plays Agent Mobius. Mobius is tasked with cleaning up the mess that Loki started when he got his hands on the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. In a brand new featurette to promote the Marvel show, Wilson was sat down to discuss what he thought about the MCU and working on Loki.
Owen Wilson, quite the prolific comedian, came right out of the gate by jokingly mentioning that he was initially approached to star in Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America but that he initially passed on those. Wilson continued by discussing how imaginative Tom Hiddleston was on set, revealing that some of his ideas even made it onto the series’ scripts. Wilson also went on to praise Loki’s costume and set design, saying that the visuals did most of the heavy lifting. Hiddleston also took a quick moment to praise Wilson’s portrayal as Agent Mobius.
