It seems that the wait is finally over, as season 2 of the project has officially begun filming in Dallas! A set photo from the production gives fans the first look at Cena’s third outing as Christopher Smith!
This set photo seems to paint a relaxed picture of John Cena’s return to the DC Universe. The comfortable shirt suggests that Peacemaker will be on vacation heading into the first episode of season 2. However, a subsequent set video shows that that zen won’t last long!

Smoke has filled the streets of Dallas in the latest set video from Peacemaker season 2. John Cena is already taking hits in his grand return to the DC Universe, as it seems the actor has been knocked down in an explosion, with civilians running around in a panic from whatever caused it.
Fans still don’t know exactly what threat John Cena will be facing in season 2 of Peacemaker. The freshman season saw aliens invade the DC Universe, alongside a healthy dose of punching Nazis. While it’s unclear if either threat will return, what is clear is that Cena is in for the fight of his life as production trucks ahead!
