New ‘Gotham Knights’ Image Teases Poison Ivy Appearance

It appears Gotham Knights will feature another classic Batman villain.

A brand-new image from the upcoming Bat Family game teases that an appearance might be made by Poison Ivy in Gotham Knights.

During DC FanDome in August, Warner Bros. Montreal’s long rumored Batman game was finally revealed as Gotham Knights. The biggest twist during the reveal trailer was that Batman is dead and the game will focus on the Bat Family. The Gotham Knights DC FanDome presentation featured plenty of gameplay which revealed Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls as villains the Bat Family will encounter.

There has also been hints that Two-Face and other notable members of Batman’s sprawling Rogues Gallery will appear in the game. The official Gotham Knights twitter account has now teased Poison Ivy with an image of Pamela’s Cafe. Of course, the cafe’s name appears to be referring to Poison Ivy’s real name, Pamela Isley. Poison Ivy was featured prominently in the Batman: Arkham games and even had a stunning character arc by the time that series wrapped up. Her inclusion in Gotham Knights is sure to be the first of many other Batman villains roaming around in the city. You can check out the image for yourself below.

Here is the synopsis for the game from Warner Bros. Montreal:

Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.
