Police Seize Cocaine Addressed To Bad Guy From Keanu Reeves’ ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’

Police find coffee beans full of cocaine addressed to a 'John Wick' bad guy!

In a bizarre coincidence, police have seized package full of coffee beans that were stuffed full of cocaine, addressed to Santino D’Antonio, who was the primary antagonist in Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 2.

In the Keanu Reeves film, Santino D’Antonio was an acquaintance of John Wick who helped him get out the organized crime life. Following the events of the first film, however, D’Antonio called upon a blood oath that John Wick owed him to kill his sister. After John Wick fulfilled this oath, D’Antonio put a bounty on John Wick’s head. At the end of the film, he violated the rule of the underworld by killing D’Antonio on Continental ground, marking him for death, and setting up the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. But now, life has somewhat imitated art.

According to Italian police, a 2-kilogram package of coffee beans was being shipped to Santino D’Antonio. The coffee beans, as it turned out, contained roughly 130 grams of cocaine. The drugs came from Colombia and were on their way to a tobacco shop in Florence. The man who attempted to claim the package already had a history of drug-related arrests.

What do you all make of this story? Do you find it funny that someone would address a shipment of cocaine to a John Wick villain? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for the latest film in the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum:

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

Directed by Chad Stahelski from a script written by Derek Kolstad, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum stars Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, Common, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jason Mantzoukas, Anjelica Huston, and Boban Marjanovic.
