Concept artwork for Mark Ruffalo as Professor Hulk in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame shows off some different outfits for Dr. Bruce Banner in the acclaimed film.
The concept art in question shows off Professor Hulk in three different designs. The first design shows him in his iconic shirtless form, reflective of when Professor Hulk must blend in with his 2012 counterpart when he, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Scott Lang use the Quantum Realm to travel back to the infamous Battle of New York. The second design looks to be inspired by the Quantum Realm team suits that the rest of the Avengers don in their Time Heist for the Infinity Stones. Lastly, the third design shows Professor Hulk donning a more relaxed look with a black hoodie.

Avengers: Endgame finds Dr. Banner in a different place than we last saw him at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Throughout the previous film, Banner struggles to Hulk out and during the Battle in Wakanda, he uses Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster suit to help fend off the threats of Thanos’ army. Within the next five years, Banner found a way to “put the brains and the brawn together,” creating Professor Hulk, of which he deems to be “the best of both worlds”.
Professor Hulk was one of the numerous secrets kept under-wraps during the marketing campaign for the film before it premiered in theaters back in April.
Here’s the official synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:
