Get down, Mr. President! Red Hulk starts to smash in a brand new TV spot for Captain America: Brave New World, featuring a destroyed version of the White House!
While Red Hulk has been the center for a lot of promotion for Captain America: Brave New World, there hasn’t been much in the way of “smashing”. Mostly the character has mean mugged Sam Wilson from a field of cherry blossoms with focus pulled so harshly many fans thought they were CGI. However, it seems Marvel is finally ready to let fans in on the action.
A recent TV spot released for Captain America: Brave New World reveals what appear to be the first moments in which President Ross transforms into Red Hulk during a press conference. This includes the Crimson Terror launching himself out of the White House, which appears to be in flames following an attack. However, it’s unclear which side actually did the attacking from the footage.

Red Hulk’s Role In Captain America: Brave New World
While Red Hulk is getting quite a bit of promotion for Captain America: Brave New World, fans should caution themselves from expecting too much. A recent report suggested that the character will have a surprisingly scant screentime in the film. This isn’t too surprising, especially considering that most of the footage seen of the character has been in the form of President Ross. And Marvel wouldn’t spend Harrison Ford money if he was only a CGI monster most of the film!
It’s also worth noting that, while Red Hulk will be the primary antagonist, he won’t be the only one. The Leader is set to make his return to the MCU in Captain America: Brave New World. In addition, Giancarlo Esposito is set to appear as Sidewinder, likely serving as the physical force on The Leader’s payroll as he manipulates events behind the scenes.
Captain America: Brave New World is currently slated to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
