According to a new report, Benedict Cumberbatch’s upcoming Marvel sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will begin production this November.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has had something of a rough road. The film’s original director, Scott Derrickson departed amid creative differences with Marvel. Soon after, it was revealed that director Sam Rami was in talks to direct the film before the director himself confirmed his involvement. Since then, the film underwent a delay due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it seems production for the upcoming film may start earlier than anyone expected.
According to a report from Murphy’s Multiverse, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange sequel is set to begin production in November. Filming was originally set to begin in the spring of 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic. Production for the film is said to take place in the United Kingdom. It is currently unknown how this may affect the release date of the film.
