A newly-discovered Avengers: Endgame Easter egg pays tribute to Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man.
Even almost a year after its release, Avengers: Endgame is continuing to deliver Easter eggs and tidbits for fans. The film was chock-full of references and Easter eggs that celebrated the franchises’s long-running history. Released last year to critical and commercial acclaim, the Avengers film was marked as the culmination of ten years of filmmaking, which all started with Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man in 2008. The film also ended with a beautiful tribute to Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, who sacrificed his life to bring Thanos to justice.
Now, a brand new Easter egg revealed exclusively by Marvel Studios shows not just how detailed Endgame is, but also how it pays tribute to Iron Man. The homage was revealed in a Disney Twitter thread, where numerous studios shared Easter eggs from their respective films.
