Eiza Gonzalez Catwoman Robert Pattinson The Batman

A stunning new piece of fan art imagines Hobbs and Shaw star Eiza Gonzalez as Catwoman for Robert Pattinson’s Batman trilogy.

With casting for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman currently underway, and with rumors suggesting that the film will feature quite a few iconic Batman villains, it’s a safe bet to assume that Catwoman will once again grace the silver screen soon. Now, Bosslogic has thrown in Eiza Gonzalez’s name in the ring for Catwoman. The popular digital artist has created artwork that shows Eiza Gonzalez donning the classic Catwoman costume with a whip. To cap it all off, Eiza Gonzalez even has a cat on her shoulder!

Here’s what Eiza Gonzalez could look like as Catwoman for Robert Pattinson’s Batman movies.

Eiza Gonzalez would certainly be a worthy Catwoman and could easily go to-to-toe with Robert Pattinson’s Batman. The actress is no stranger to playing anti-heroes and villains as she starred as a bank robber in Baby Driver and a psycho cyborg in Alita: Battle Angel. Hopefully, The Batman director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson are convinced by this fan art and will give Eiza Gonzalez a call!

General details regarding Robert Pattinson’s Batman movie are quite skim, especially in the casting realm. Last week, Rihanna commented on rumors that she would be playing Poison Ivy opposite Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. She shot them down, though she did say that she would love to audition for the role if given the opportunity.

Previous rumors once pointed to an earlier version of the script featuring Ben Affleck bookending the film as his current Batman while the film introduced Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight in his earlier years. But with Ben Affleck officially retired from the role, Robert Pattinson is replacing the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League star as Batman.

We know that The Batman will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman and The Penguin. Director Matt Reeves has also confirmed that it will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s acclaimed Year One comic and will make use of the Caped Crusader’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new movie trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern CorpsBlack AdamThe Suicide SquadSupergirlNew Gods, and Birds of Prey.

The Batman is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Eiza Gonzalez, Catwoman, Robert Pattinson and the future of the DC Extended Universe!
