Production on The Batman is currently underway in the United Kingdom and fans are eager to see how director Matt Reeves will tackle the DC Comics icon with Robert Pattinson in the suit. In a new report on what fans are most excited to see from the film, Batman on Film also dropped new details on what they can expect from the Batsuit Robert Pattinson will don and his Batmobile.

According to the site, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman costume will be very different from the previous on-screen versions of the Batsuit while simultaneous being “very much Batman.” To clarify, the site notes that it doesn’t believe Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne will receive his Batman costume from anyone other than himself.

As for The Batmobile, the outlet describes The Batman version of the vehicle as an upgraded muscle car as opposed to the tank design seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. However, the report indicates that the Batmobile in The Batman won’t be as stylized as the ones featured in the Batman movies by Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher.

The Matt Reeves-directed movie will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new Batman trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, Jayme Lawson as Bella, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, and Peter Sarsgaard.
