Fan Transforms ‘The Batman’ Star Robert Pattinson Into Captain America

The Batman star Robert Pattinson dons Captain America’s Avengers: Endgame suit in an awesome new concept design.

While fans are still going wild after finally seeing The Batman star Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit, a new challenge among artists puts the actor in the Captain America costume. Although Robert Pattinson previously said that he was obsessed with Batman, the impressive artwork sees the star don the iconic Captain America suit worn by Chris Evans in Avengers: Endgame. However, the concept design does make some minor changes to fit in with Robert Pattinson’s role in the DC Comics film.

The concept design from digital artist “spdrmnkyxxiii” on Instagram shows The Batman star Robert Pattinson as Captain America wearing the suit last seen in Avengers: Endgame. The artist explained that the challenge was to use the first reveal of The Batman star in the Batsuit and imagine him as another character. If you look closely, you can see that Robert Pattinson’s Captain America has the collar seen in the new Batsuit. Full plot details on The Batman are being kept under lock and key, but we know that the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.
