Robert Pattinson’s Jacked Physique Hints At His ‘The Batman’ Look

An older photo of Robert Pattinson recently surfaced, offering fans a look at how fit the actor could get for his upcoming role as Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Robert Pattinson was officially cast as the Dark Knight for director Matt Reeves’ highly-anticipated next film The Batman earlier this year. Although news of Robert Pattinson’s casting was well-received by many, others are having a hard time imagining the Twilight alum as the next silver screen iteration of the DC superhero.

Some of those Batman fans point to Robert Pattinson’s relatively slim physique as one of the reasons for their concerns over his casting. However, a photograph taken in 2015 reveals how Robert Pattinson could get into superhero shape for his role in The Batman.

Check out the photo below to get an idea of how physically fit Robert Pattinson can get for The Batman.

Details for the project are currently under wraps. Previous rumors once pointed to an earlier version of the script featuring Ben Affleck bookending the film as his current Batman while the film introduced a younger version of the Caped Crusader, played by Robert Pattinson. But with Ben Affleck officially retired from the role, Robert Pattinson is replacing the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League star as Batman.

While not much is known, we do know that The Batman will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman and The Penguin. Director Matt Reeves has also confirmed that it will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new Batman movie trilogy with Robert Pattinson.

Matt Reeves’ film is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Supergirl, and New Gods.

The Batman is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Robert Pattinson’s Batman movies.
