The latest batch of Liverpool set photos from Robert Pattinson’s The Batman catch a glimpse at the Dark Knight watching over Gotham City and ready to take flight.
Possible spoilers ahead for The Batman!
This past week has contained a ton of brand-new set photos from The Batman as the film continues to film in Liverpool. The set photos so far have offered brand-new looks at Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz sporting a wig as Selina Kyle, an unrecognizable Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblebot, and the first glimpse at John Turturro as Carmine Falcone. Based on the set photos we’ve seen so far, it appears these characters are attending a funeral for the major of Gotham City, who was presumably the tapped victim of the Riddler we saw in the first trailer.
We’ve also seen some set pictures of the stunt work being done that has provided a better look at the Batsuit Robert Pattinson will also be donning along with the Batcycle. On Twitter, even more set photos from The Batman‘s shoot in Liverpool have found their way online. This time, we get to see the Dark Knight on top of the historic Royal Liver Building. In the photos, it appears the Dark Knight is about to take flight like something we’ve seen in countless Batman movies over the years. You can check out the latest round of set photos below.

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under wraps, but we know that the project will revolve around Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment to a new Batman trilogy with Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news regarding Robert Pattinson’s young Dark Knight and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
