The Defenders star Rosario Dawson still wants play a live-action Ahsoka Tano in a future Star Wars project.
When Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie, the character received a mixed reaction from fandom. Twelve years later and Ahsoka Tano is now one of the most beloved characters in all of Star Wars. This had led to a desire from Star Wars fans to see her in a live-action project at some point in the future. One actress who has been fancasted by Star Wars fans to play Ahsoka Tano is Rosario Dawson.
Ahsoka Tano was last seen at the end of Star Wars Rebels and was heard in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. With Ahsoka Tano active during the time of The Mandalorian with Dave Filoni’s involvement, some Star Wars fans think Ahsoka Tano could make her live-action debut on the Disney Plus series. Rosario Dawson seems to agree as she continues to campaign for the Ahsoka Tano role after a fan recently reached out to her on Twitter.
