Rosario Dawson addressed the reports on her being cast as Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Last month, it was reported that The Defenders star Rosario Dawson has joined the cast of The Mandalorian season 2 as Ahsoka Tano. The news was welcomed by fans who have longed to see Ahsoka Tano appear in a live-action Star Wars project, many of whom who had been suggesting Rosario Dawson for the role for the years.
Of course, Disney and Lucasfilm have not made any official statements on whether or not Rosarion Dawson has joined the cast of The Mandalorian. During an interview with Variety, Rosario Dawson was also tight-lipped about the subject but added that would be happy for the Ahsoka Tano casting to be confirmed at some point:
“That’s not confirmed yet but when that happens, I will be very happy. I’m very excited for that to be confirmed at some point.”
Rosario Dawson also credited the fans for the Ahsoka Tano casting, saying it would be “a million and one percent because of the fans.”
