Batwoman star Ruby Rose recently opened up about exiting the Arrowverse show and leaving her role as Kate Kane behind.

After Ruby Rose surprisingly left her Batwoman role behind due to the long hours required of a TV lead role, the star broke her silence on Instagram with an emotional tribute video to Kate Kane. The role has yet to be filled for season two, although actresses like Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Stephanie Beatriz and The Magicians star Jade Tailor have both expressed an interest in stepping up to play Batwoman in the Arrowverse show.

In an emotional Instagram post, Ruby Rose thanked everyone she worked with both in front of the camera and behind it, pointing out there would be too many tags to thank everyone individually. The star explained that it wasn’t an easy decision to make, but also mentioned she knows how big the role is for the LGBTQ+ community. At the end of the post, the former Batwoman star tried to put fans minds at ease, saying that she knows the second season of the Arrowverse show will be amazing. Take a look at her tribute video on Instagram below.
