Deadpool and Wolverine are headed to your home! The official release date for the digital version has been confirmed by Ryan Reynolds.
Deadpool and Wolverine has been one of the biggest successes in Marvel history. A success that it’s been able to maintain, as people are still turning out in droves to see Ryan Reynolds’ latest outing as the Merc with a Mouth. The film has managed to stay at the top of the charts for literal months on end, even surpassing The Avengers on the ranking of highest grossing films of all time.
However, it seems that the historic box office run is going to be coming to an end soon. With the film heading into its fourth month at the theaters next week, Ryan Reynolds took to social media to reveal when fans can expect the digital version of the project. It turns out, Marvel fans will be able to purchase the VOD a lot sooner than they may have thought.
Deadpool And Wolverine’s Digital Release Date
Ryan Reynolds announced the release date on his personal social media page, revealing that Deadpool and Wolverine will be hitting digital storefronts on October 1st. This came along with a short teaser of the film’s best moments. The footage also confirmed that Marvel will be giving fans a plethora of extras from the film along with the movie’s VOD, including but not limited to deleted scenes and interviews with the cast and crew.
Some fans are shocked that Marvel would be releasing the digital version of Deadpool and Wolverine so early. Given the film is still making money hand over fist at the box office, it would make sense for them to delay the release date of the VOD until people finally got stick of Ryan Reynolds’ threequel. Though with how massive the film has been, they may simply want to cash in on the hype to boost digital sales above their usual marker.
