Ryan Reynolds may not be done with Deadpool just yet! His latest Instagram post has fans speculating about a return in Avengers: Doomsday.
For as much as the infamous “Chair Day” has been clowned on in the community, it’ll go down in history as being one of the most interesting things Marvel has ever done. It revealed that dozens of fan-favorite actors, from new faces to old favorites, would be making their return in Avengers: Doomsday. However, there were some notable absences. Perhaps the biggest of which (behind Spider-Man) being Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool.
Deadpool has become one of Marvel’s biggest faces over the past few years. And, following the characters’ latest film tying an official knot between the original X-Men continuity and the mainline MCU, many assumed that he was a shoe-in to return in Avengers: Doomsday. Yet while he wasn’t confirmed in the chair line-up, Ryan Reynolds recently made a post that got people talking.

Is Deadpool In Avengers: Doomsday?
There’s been a lot of rumors flying around that Chair Day 2: Electric Boogaloo may be right around the corner to reveal even more actors making their return in Avengers: Doomsday. The sheer timing of Ryan Reynolds’ post to line-up with these rumors does add some validity to them, even if Deadpool himself would be far from the biggest surprise addition.
As for who could join Ryan Reynolds in Avengers: Doomsday, it’s likely Dafne Keen and Hugh Jackman would return to their roles, especially given both had prominent roles in the latest Deadpool film. It’s also possible fans get some weird additions, such as Miles Teller’s Mister Fantastic or even Ben Affleck as Daredevil. Though with the sequel to Chair Day likely coming sooner than later, it’s possible fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
