Marvel’s Deadpool 3 is on the horizon, and recently unveiled on-set photos offer a first glimpse at Ryan Reynolds returning as Wade Wilson. In these set snaps from Mirror Online, Reynolds is shown donning his infamous red and black ensemble, reprising his role as the Merc with the Mouth for the third time.

One detail that immediately draws attention is the noticeable change in Deadpool’s outfit color. Compared to previous versions, the current suit appears to sport a brighter shade of red. However, the final shade of Deadpool’s suit in the finished film could change due to post-production processes.

Deadpool 3 once again features Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth, with Hugh Jackman co-starring as Wolverine. The two characters have a long history in the comics, but they haven’t shared the big screen since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The first two Deadpool movies were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio’s acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. Deadpool 3 is being written as the first movie in the series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.

Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
