Fans finally know who Sadie Sink is playing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The actress’ role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been revealed in a leaked trailer.
The MCU has been leakier than a balloon in a cactus field these past few days. Not only have two of the four Avengers: Doomsday trailers already leaked, but the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which wasn’t on anyone’s radar to debut soon, also surfaced online. And with it came some deliciously interesting information, such as revealing the truth about Sadie Sink’s role.
Fans have long been speculating who Sadie Sink will play in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, mostly since Marvel refuses to confirm what role she’ll play. While early guesses included major heroes such as Jean Grey and Firestar, it seems as though her role may be much more villainous, with the trailer seeing her threaten Spider-Man for disrupting her plans.
“You’re a mess, Spider-Man. Don’t get in my way. Otherwise, it won’t just be your friends who don’t remember who Peter Parker is.”
Who Is Sadie Sink Playing In Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
While this may not seem like a major revelation, there’s only been one villain circulating on the rumor mill of who Sadie Sink could play: Shathra. Multiple reports suggest that Sink will be playing the role of a multiversal saboteur in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which also means it’s more likely than not that she’ll be appearing in other projects at the end of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga.
That being said, the trailer does suggest that the MCU is making some major changes to Shahtra for their role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In the comics, Shathra’s original goal is to feed Spider-Man to her kids. However, the words Sadie Sink uses in the trailer suggest that Spider-Man is an active thorn in her side while trying to do a plan completely divorced from him.
