Samuel L Jackson has teased his return at Nick Fury for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Secret Invasion series.
After being a supporting star for the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade, Samuel L Jackson is set to get his own leading role in the upcoming Secret Invasion Disney Plus series, which takes inspiration from the comic of the same name. Jackson first appeared as Nick Fury in Iron Man, got snapped away in Avengers: Infinity War, and was last seen briefly in Spider-Man: Far From Home, vacationing off-world.

It’s pretty hilarious how Samuel L Jackson’s shirt shows Nick Fury being snapped away, and according to his caption, it’s clear that he’s got some beef against being whisked away for five years. The Secret Invasion series will likely factor Thanos’ snap into the plot, with the Skrulls infiltrating Earth while half the population was erased to make their invasaion easier.
Here is the official synopsis for Marvel Studios’ most recent live-action series on Disney Plus, Loki:
“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”
Directed by Kate Herron with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
