Samuel L Jackson looks menacing as Nick Fury in the first look at Marvel Studio’s upcoming Secret Invasion series.
Disney Plus Day was jam-packed with first looks and reveals that we’re only now just taking in. Some of the highlights include the first look at Moon Knight and the animated series Spider-Man: Freshman Year. While there was a lot of content surrounding Marvel’s newest characters, the reveal that has us most excited focuses on one of the founding members of the Avengers.
Marvel Studios released the first look at the Secret Invasion series during its sizzle reel for Disney Plus Day. In the brief tease, fans got their first look at Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury surprisingly without his eye patch.
Details on the Secret Invasion series are slim, though we do know that Marvel Studios has assembled an all-star cast for the show. Emilia Clarke, Oliva Coleman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir will be joining Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos. It’s unclear if the newcomers to the MCU will be playing Skrulls, humans, or otherworldly beings.
Marvel Studios’ next series to hit Disney Plus is Hawkeye. Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.
Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the future of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
