Is Eve Teschmacher making her grand return? Sara Sampaio speaks on if she’ll reprise he iconic DC Universe role when Man of Tomorrow hits theaters in 2027.
The DC Universe has had quite a few stand-out supporting characters: from Tim Meadows’ Agent Fleury in Peacemaker to Circe in Creature Commandos. However, perhaps the most beloved out of all of them is Superman‘s Eve Teschmacher played by Sara Sampaio. The character is a darling of the DC Universe fandom, with many fans hoping for her return in Man of Tomorrow.
However, it seems that not everyone from Superman may be set to return. The Jimmy Olsen show is set to film around the same time as Man of Tomorrow, casting doubt on which of those characters could appear in the film. This has left many wondering that, if the DC Universe’s best news team is being left out, Sara Sampaio’s Eve Teschmacher may be cut as well.
Is Eve Teschmacher In Man Of Tomorrow?
Sara Sampaio recently made an appearance on The Main Character hosted by Brandon Davis. During the chat, the actress was asked if there were any plans to return as Eve Teschmacher in Man of Tomorrow. However, it seems that the actress has no idea what the future holds for her character in the DC Universe.
“I don’t know anything. I don’t think anyone has read the script. I don’t know if I’m in it. I hope I’m in it. I would love to see her relationship with Jimmy and her relationship with Lex. I feel like Lex might want to get some revenge.”
Of course, even if Eve Teschmacher was making her return in Man of Tomorrow, it’s not likely that Sara Sampaio would be able to reveal anything. Still, it seems that the character has fertile ground to grow in the DC Universe. Fans just have to hope that James Gunn takes advantage of it!
Man of Tomorrow flies into theaters July 9th, 2027. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe!
