Scarlet Witch is on her way to the small screen and according to a new report, she’ll be joined by another iconic hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When you’re thinking of which Marvel character would make a great TV series, Scarlet Witch may not be the first one you think of. She’s an iconic character with an important history in Marvel comics, but her big screen counterpart, played by Elizabeth Olsen, hasn’t quite had the same significance in the MCU just yet. Well, it turns out that she could be doing that alongside another character from Avengers: Infinity War, and it’s not Loki.
SlashFilm has heard that Paul Bettany’s Vision, who made his MCU debut in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be joining Olsen on the small screen. The report also mentions that thisi will be more than just a cameo, as Vision will play a significant role in the series. Given that both of these characters bit the dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, though will most likely return in next year’s follow-up, it’s quite interesting to think about where this series could take place.
Scarlet Witch will be joining a Loki series, as well as a Falcon/Winter Soldier series on the Disney Play streaming service at some point in the future. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the Scarlet Witch series as soon as more information becomes available. What’s your opinion on Vision joining the series? Would you like to see a series about the duo’s pre-Avengers: Infinity War adventures, or somewhere else in the MCU timeline? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
