New photos from the set of Scarlett Johansson’s standalone Black Widow movie may confirm the film’s time period, revealing it may not be entirely a prequel after all.
While the long overdue Black Widow movie centering on Scarlett Johansson’s character has been expected to feature events prior to Scarlett Johannson’s introduction as Natasha Romanoff in Iron Man 2, set photos from the production overseas have suggested otherwise. Not only have set photos revealed Scarlett Johansson sporting a similar hairstyle to her look in Avengers: Endgame, hinting the film could take place after Avengers: Infinity War, but a new batch of set photos seems to further suggest a modern time period for the Marvel film.
Earlier this week, set photos from the Black Widow film revealed Scarlett Johansson’s character in an action-packed chase sequence, on the run from what appears to be Taskmaster. One eagle-eyed Reddit user noticed the SUV is 2017 BMW, specifically a 2017 X3. You can check it out below!
