Marvel Studios science adviser Clifford Johnson wants to help the company introduce the Fantastic Four though Black Panther.

Since Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, many have wondered how Marvel Studios would integrate the X-Men and the Fantastic Four into the larger cinematic universe. Many have brought up their own theories as to how this could happen but now Marvel Studios science adviser Clifford Johnson has brought up his own way to bring in the Fantastic Four into the MCU. Specifically, it would involve Black Panther and Wakanda.

During a recent interview with Indiwire, Clifford Johnson talked about having the Fantastic Four connected at the beginning, involving the iconic Marvel characters exploring alternate dimensions and have characters from Black Panther discovering them:

“Wakanda and the Fantastic Four should connect at the beginning, and I know how to do it. I think it would be a cool wink to the comics and another way to show diversity in science to have the entry point of the Fantastic Four into the Marvel cinematic universe happen because the Wakandans discover them in some extra dimension and bring them into the MCU. If they call me, I’m willing to go to town on that.”

He also added how, in his Black Panther scenario, Reed Richards would take his team to explore higher dimensions and how that was stuff that was rooted in things scientists were still trying to understand:

“That is so my jam. Reed Richards was taking his team and they were going off into weird higher dimensions and stuff. That’s stuff we’re trying to understand now in real science, so I would love to have the opportunity to help them make that look great and to weave that into a story.”

What do you all make of Clifford Johnson’s ideas? Would you like to see members of Black Panther‘s cast pull the Fantastic Four out of an alternate dimension? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
