Scott Eastwood Replaces Henry Cavill As Superman In Cool Fan Art

Scott Eastwood becomes Henry Cavill’s Superman replacement in a new piece of fan art that imagines the future of the DC Extended Universe.

Although Henry Cavill has said that his role in Netflix’s The Witcher won’t prevent him from playing Superman again, fans are already eyeing up other stars to bring the Kryptonian to life on the big screen. One artist recently revealed what Scott Eastwood could look like as Superman if he were to replace Henry Cavill as the DC Comics icon. While many artists pick the Suicide Squad and Pacific Rim: Uprising star to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Instagram user “barrett.digital” chose to imagine Scott Eastwood as Superman.

The fan art of Scott Eastwood taking over from Henry Cavill pictures a combination of the Superman suits that have appeared in live-action over the years. While the texture of Scott Eastwood’s costume looks like a toned down version of Henry Cavill’s Superman suit, the colors and the symbol feel closer to Brandon Routh’s Superman Returns outfit. The artist also mentioned that this design of Scott Eastwood’s Superman could be seen next to Robert Pattinson’s Batman. You can see Scott Eastwood replace Henry Cavill as Superman below.

Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in 2017’s Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
