See Christopher Reeve Don The Black Superman Suit In New Pic

Henry Cavill isn't the only one who can rock a black suit.

Christopher Reeve Superman

A new design shows Christopher Reeve donning a black Superman suit inspired by his classic look from the 1978 film.

While the internet was recently in a frenzy at the official footage of Henry Cavill wearing the black suit in the Snyder Cut, a new design imagines what Christopher Reeve’s Superman could’ve looked like if he had a similar arc back in the franchise which started in 1978. Fans are understandably excited about all the new footage included in Justice League when it arrives on HBO Max next year, and hopefully the black suit gets plenty of screen-time.

The new design from ‘jscomicart’ on Instagram takes a shot of Christopher Reeve in his classic Superman costume and reimagines it into the black, gray and white look for the Kryptonian. The bulk of his costume is jet black, while his iconic cape is gray to match the darker version of his chest symbol. The design also gives the Christopher Reeve Superman a completely white belt to replace the usual yellow look – and it contrasts quite well. Take a look at the classic black suit Superman art below.
