‘Shameless’ Star Emmy Rossum Transforms Into She-Hulk For The MCU In New Fan Art

A new concept design reveals what Shameless star Emmy Rossum could look like as the MCU’s She-Hulk.

During the Marvel Studios presentation at the 2019 D23 Expo, Kevin Feige announced that a She-Hulk series is part of the company’s line-up of live-action MCU series for the Disney Plus streaming service. Of course, the She-Hulk series is still in the early stages of development, but fans are already proposing actresses for the lead role and many consider Shameless star Emmy Rossum to be the perfect actress to play the iconic Marvel character.

Emmy Rossum is best known for her role as Fiona Gallagher in the Showtime series Shameless, but she has a number of additional credits on film and television that demonstrate her talent. Now, digital artist “BritEdit” has shared artwork that imagines Shameless star Emmy Rossum as She-Hulk with what appears to be a few people who incurred her wrath in the background.

You can see Shameless star Emmy Rossum as She-Hulk for the MCU in the artwork below.

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner, a.k.a. The Hulk. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce that transforms her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black WidowThe EternalsShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including The Falcon and the Winter SoldierWandaVisionLokiWhat If…?, HawkeyeMs. MarvelMoon Knight, and She-Hulk.
