Director David F. Sandberg has hilariously fixed Henry Cavill’s Superman cameo at the end of the Shazam! movie.
As anyone who saw Shazam! can tell you, Superman appeared in the film’s final scene but in an unexpected way. Superman star Henry Cavill was unable to reach a deal with Warner Bros in time to shoot a cameo for the film’s final scene, adding fuel to the speculation that he was done playing the Man of Steel. As a result, Superman’s cameo in the film showed the character’s body but notably had his head off camera, making for a bizarrely hilarious scene. However, Shazam! helmer David F. Sandberg has found a way to make it even funnier.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Henry Cavill is in negotiations to reprise his role as Superman for multiple DC Comics movies. Shazam! director David F. Sandberg seems to have gotten ahead of the game by putting Henry Cavill’s head in the film in a way that you may not expect. Take a look below.
I know a lot of you asked for this but I’m not so sure this is an improvement. But hey, at least you can stop messaging me about it now. pic.twitter.com/Y4BdiJ2MjE

Here is the official synopsis for Shazam!:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.
Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Shazam! and Henry Cavill’s future as Superman and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more great video content!
