‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods’ Reactions Hype Up Zachary Levi’s DC Universe Return

With the release date of Shazam! Fury of the Gods just around the corner, Hollywood critics and fans who were able to see the film a week before its official debut have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the highly-anticipated project. According to several of the tweets, Zachary Levi’s DC Universe return is a definite crowd-pleaser.

The positive early reviews of Shazam! Fury of the Gods bode well for its box office performance. With its strong critical reception, Fury of the Gods is sure to draw in crowds of superhero fans eager to see the latest adventure of Shazam and his friends.

David F. Sandberg recently announced that Shazam! Fury of the Gods has already been completed ahead of its March release. The synopsis reads as follows: “Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.”

In addition to Shazam! Fury of the GodsThe FlashBlue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are also currently in various stages of post-production at Warner Bros. Discovery, with all four DC Universe movies set to hit theaters this year. Will the characters from those movies make appearances in the new DC Universe? Only newly-named DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran Safran know.

Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Millans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren.
