Zachary Levi made a special appearance at the 2018 Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil to promote his upcoming superhero film, Shazam!. Levi plays the titular hero, who is the larger-than-life heroic counterpart to young Billy Batson (Asher Angel). While at CCXP, Levi received a piece of artwork from a fan, in which the original Captain Marvel is shown meeting with Jesus Christ.
In the onslaught of fan artwork featuring Shazam – especially with our glimpses at Levi in the suit from the trailer and other promotional material, this is certainly one of the most unique. To be honest, it’s nothing more than a sweet coloring pencil drawing, but it certainly got Levi impressed enough for him to share it on his official Instagram.
You can check out the “Shazam meets Jesus” fan art down below, courtesy of Levi himself:

Given Jesus’ long hair and beard seen in this drawing, one could be forgiven if they mistaken this drawing to be of Shazam meeting with Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman donning a white robe rather than his typical shirtless look or his Atlantean armor.

Here is synopsis for Shazam!:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).
Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Honsou.
Shazam! will be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.
