Shazam! star Zachary Levi is quite hyped to see Gal Gadot embrace the ’80s in Wonder Woman 1984.

Since taking on the role of Shazam, Zachary Levi has experienced an exponential rise in fame. Joining the DC family can be quite daunting but Zachary Levi has done a fantastic job of bringing the lovable character of Shazam to life for millions. Taking to Twitter to answer a couple of questions, Shazam actor Zachary Levi was asked by a fan if he was excited to see Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984, to which he replied with an enthusiastic response.

Currently, the DCEU is going through a significant shuffle, which has left fans confused as to when Zachary Levi’s Shazam and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will join forces to combat a certain evil. It’s certainly clear that Zachary Levi’s Shazam exists within the same universe as Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, as Superman made an appearance in the Shazam! movie. Only time will tell when Shazam and Wonder Woman join forces on the big screen.

Both Zachary Levi and Gal Gadot are reprising their respective roles in future DC Extended Universe movies. Details on Zachary Levi’s Shazam sequel are slim to none, though we do know that the script is currently being written. Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielsen, and Robin Wright.
