The SAG-AFTRA strike is nearing its seventh week, with the WGA strike at its third month. Following Disney CEO Bob Iger’s recent comments about the Hollywood strikes, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany has called him out for being “out of touch.”
It seems as though everyone in Hollywood is itching for the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes to end, even if the AMPTP (the studio’s trade association) isn’t too keen on coming back to the table. Disney’s CEO Bob Iger has said that the striking workers are being unrealistic, leading to many stars speaking out against his comments. This includes Tatiana Maslany, who played the titular character in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and recently commented on Iger not understanding the plight of the people making shows for his company:
“I think he’s completely out of touch. He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money,” Maslany told The Hollywood Reporter “Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”
While the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star likely made plenty of money from the show to stay afloat, not every crew member was as lucky as Tatiana Maslany. Many SAG-AFTRA and WGA members, including those that work under Disney CEO Bob Iger, don’t even make enough to qualify for health insurance. There are currently rumors the AMPTP wants to return for negotiations, though only time will tell if the talks will actually go through.
When can fans expect to see She-Hulk again?
Although there has been no official announcement regarding a second season for She-Hulk, Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters is expected to appear in upcoming Marvel movies like Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and its follow-up Secret Wars. With the MCU exploring the concept of the multiverse in recent projects like Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s possible that She-Hulk could make an appearance in different universes or interact with alternate versions of familiar characters.

Also known as Jennifer Walters, She-Hulk is the cousin of Bruce Banner AKA The Hulk and gains her powers after receiving a blood transfusion from him. Unlike Banner, Walters is able to retain her personality and intelligence while transformed into She-Hulk.
