Sony is reportedly looking to begin production on their upcoming Spider-Man series focused on Silk later this year.
Amazon is starting to become the premier destination for superhero television content, thanks to The Boys and Invincible. Last year, the streaming service was also in talks with Sony to become the home of the various Spider-Man TV projects in the works. The first television project on deck comes from Into the Spider-Verse‘s Phil Lord and Chris Miller, with a series centered on Silk.
Discussing Film now reports the upcoming Silk series set for Amazon Prime Video is expected to start filming in late August and wrap in early 2022. Cindy Moon made her Marvel debut in Dan Slott’s The Amazing Spider-Man #1 and later appeared as Silk in issue 4.
