Yikes! A Sonic the Hedgehog fan completely redesigned the film’s live-action take on the character so horribly, it actually makes Paramount’s initial design look good.
Sonic the Hedgehog was originally slated to arrive in theaters this fall. But after the Sonic film was hit with major backlash from fans for the design of Sonic in his live-action debut, director Jeff Fowler, announced that the project was being delayed in order to completely redesign the character. Ben Schwartz, who voices to the iconic blue hedgehog, also teased Sonic would get a redesign much closer to his classic video game form.
Some fans have already shared their own versions of how a game-accurate look for Sonic could appear on the silver screen. Some even said it only minutes to redesign the character. While many have improved the character’s look, one fan, in particular, managed to create the worst design yet. It’s so bad, it makes the original look good!
Wow. It’s hard to imagine creating a design such as this for SEGA’s most popular character. Fans might even prefer the original Paramount Pictures design over this nightmare.
But what do you think? Is this version of Sonic worse than Paramount’s original design? Sound off in the comments below!

Westworld actor James Marsden stars in the film along with Ben Schwartz who provides the voice for the film’s Sonic.
