Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse is looking amazing! Fans officially have their first look at the highly-anticipated sequel releasing in 2027.
After years of nothing, news regarding Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse has officially begun flooding out. The CinemaCon panel already blessed fans with a release date for the long-awaited sequel. They also showcased footage exclusive to the attendees of the event. While the sequence won’t be released to the public, Sony Pictures did provide some brand new images from the movie to tide fans over.
The images mainly revolve around the familiar faces of Miles Morales and Miles G. Morales, who took on the secret villain identity of The Prowler. Not much of plot can be gleamed from this first look. However, it does showcase that the sequel will surely be as much a feast for the eyes as prior installments in the franchise. This includes art styles exclusive to Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse, with one seemingly being based on paper craft.

What Is The Plot Of Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse?
Co-writer Phil Lord described Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse as picking up exactly where Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse left off. As such, the sequel will likely start with Miles Morales and Miles G. Morales having a heart-to-heart, ultimately leading to the two fighting (likely over the fact that the leading Miles took the Spider that was originally meant for Miles G.). This means the first look images above likely come from very early on in the film.
The one notable exception is the reunion of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. While Gwen Stacy did set off to try to find Miles at the end of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, she had a whole team of Spider-People with her. It’s likely that image comes from around the midpoint of Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse, where the two storylines in the sequel converge to take down the villainous Spot.
Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse is set to release on June 4, 2027. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Spider-Verse and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
