Rumor: Kraven Could Have A Black Panther Twist In Next Spider-Man Movie

Spider-Man Kraven Wakanda Black Panther

With Spider-Man: Far From Home dominating the box office, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are already eager to see where Peter Parker (Tom Holland) has his next adventure – particularly who his next villain is going to be. While numerous villains in Spider-Man’s Rogues Gallery have yet to become MCU canon, one villain in particular has fans excited to see come to life: Kraven the Hunter. Now, a recent rumor from BossLogic claims that Kraven may tie-in with Black Panther and have roots in Wakanda.

BossLogic stresses that this information must be taken with a grain of salt, but he has heard rumblings that Kraven could be from a tribe from Wakanda that no longer exists as a result of being exiled from the Black Panther and the royals. Along with this information, BossLogic shared his own artwork depicting actor Mustafa Shakir as Kraven donning some Wakanda technology that he will likely use in a battle against Spider-Man:

Kraven the Hunter remains one of the most-requested Spider-Man villains to appear in an upcoming film. Filmmakers have previously expressed interest in bringing the villain to life for the first time on the big screen, and having the character being someone from a former tribe of Wakanda further emphasizes the tie-ins that each standalone MCU film has to other elements of the shared universe that has excited audiences for over a decade. It would be yet another way for Spider-Man and Black Panther to be linked, given that both were on Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War.

If this rumor is true, perhaps Kraven can appear in Black Panther 2 as well in order to set him up as a primary antagonist in the next Spider-Man film.

Do you hope this rumor about Kraven the Hunter being from Wakanda is true? Would you like to see the villain have tie-ins with Black Panther in the next Spider-Man film? Sound off in the comments below.
