However, it seems there may be more connections than meet the eye. For the last few weeks, the rumor mill has been suggesting that another Daredevil alum will make their return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. While no character was explicitly confirmed, there has been a lot of speculation.
Which Daredevil Star Is In Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
The truth about this rumor was revealed in a recent post by Hollywood insider DanielRPK. The insider revealed that Rosario Dawson, who played Claire Temple in Daredevil, will be reprising her role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This shouldn’t be shocking to anyone familiar with how close Dawson is with Disney due to her Star Wars ties, but it certainly remains an interesting choice for a cameo.
As for how Claire Temple will fit into the story of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it’s likely that she serves as a supplemental role to The Punisher’s story. It’s likely that Jon Bernthal will take someone who is injured, either himself or another hero, to Rosario Dawson’s Night Nurse to help patch them up, similar to how she would help Daredevil.
